Travelling to Dublin and UCD
If you are flying to Dublin then the Aircoach is the quickest and most economical way to get to UCD (Stillorgan Road entrance). Ask the driver to drop you at the stop nearest to UCD. Those taking the ferry to Dun Laoghaire should take 46x bus to UCD. Information about other bus services, including those from Dublin Port can be obtained here

Finding Accommodation
Once in UCD, you’ll find signs to Roebuck Residence, You can also ask for directions from the security people at the entrance to the campus. The delegates who have opted for UCD accommodation will stay in Roebuck Residence, in UCD Belfield. The reception desk in Roebuck is open 7/24. The check in time is 3 pm, check out is 10 am.

Registration
Registration will take place on the concourse of the Newman Building from 9 am on Thursday July 9. All sessions will be held in Newman Building starting on 10 am on July 9. A map of UCD Belfield campus and information for getting to the campus can be found at www.ucd.ie/maps Roebuck Hall Residence is marked as Building 5. Newman Building is marked as Building 36.

Local facilities
There is one main restaurant and several smaller coffee shops in UCD. Their locations are marked on the attached map. Those arriving in UCD on Wednesday before 7 pm could purchase dinner from the University Restaurant (46 on the map). However, please remember to have some euro at hand. There is a bank and cash machine close to the restaurant (4 on the map). There are two student bars in UCD. The conference bar will be located in the Staff Common Room in the Newman Building on the first floor. For more information on eating in UCD see www.ucd.ie/catering/facilities/first.html
Two nearby restaurants are Ashtons Talavera Restaurant
Alternatively, you can take a bus to city center and experience the culinary delights of Dublin or visit a pub or two. A guide can be found here.
